Do courses have a time limit?

Do courses have a time limit?

Your courses can have a "time limit" solely dependent on your method of purchase. Below, we've outlined the "time limits" for each sub-category of product that you can find on our site and how "time limits" work in those specific situations.

Subscription Purchases

When it comes to our subscription, as long as your access plan is active via one of the available subscription plans, you will maintain access to the entire course catalog (while also receiving new courses monthly).

As our courses are self-paced, there is no limit to how long you can take to complete any course included with your subscription.

Should you cancel your subscription plan, you will maintain access to our courses and curriculums for the duration of your current billing period. For more information regarding this, please refer to the following article: If I cancel my subscription, when do I lose access to the course content?

Please note that we do occasionally archive courses that are part of our subscription in order to maintain the most up-to-date e-learning materials. You can browse our Course Update Policy for further insight into how we update courses.

Non-Subscription Purchases (Lifetime Access Bundles, Individual Courses, Etc.)

In some cases, you may have purchased a product that comes with lifetime access. This includes items such as:

  1. Curriculums obtained through Kickstarter
  2. Pre-November 2019 curriculum purchases
  3. Individual course purchases
  4. Special Lifetime Access Bundles
  5. Third-party bundles or courses (Humble Bundle, Fanatical, etc.)
As these come with lifetime access, there is no time limit to how long you can take to complete any course included as part of your original purchase. You will maintain full access even without a subscription.

Please note, however, that as the content is not evergreen, and we do not provide indefinite updates. At some point, we may choose to archive the course and no longer maintain it. You will still be able to access the course as normal, but practices in it may no longer match industry standards. For more information, please see our Course Update Policy.
