Can I enable/disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for my account?

For users who have signed up via email, you can optionally turn on Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to protect your account. When 2FA is active, whenever you log in, you'll also be required to enter a one-time password that is sent to your email. You can also deactivate 2FA at any time while logged in.

The instructions below will cover how to access your 2FA options and toggle them to the desired state. Note that this option is not available for those using social login exclusively. In these cases, we recommend using the 2FA settings for your social media account itself to protect your account.

Important: For users using uncommon email domains (such as your own site's domain) or Yahoo, these systems often block our 2FA emails. As such, 2FA should be turned on with caution in these cases.


Toggling 2FA Settings

1. Log in to your Zenva Academy account

2. Head to your My Account page from the top menu



3. From the side menu, click the 2FA Settings option

 


4. Toggle the Email Authentication option to the desired state.

  • If you want 2FA to be enabled, toggle the circle to the on position (the circle will be on the right when on).




  • If you want 2FA to be disabled, toggle the circle to the off position (the circle will be on the left when off).


What if I get locked out of my account?

If you lose access to your email, this means you will also be unable to log in to your Zenva Academy account. Should this happen, please contact our support team at your earliest convenience so we can help you restore access.
